Reuters reports on use of an AI avatar of Jair Bolsonaro in political campaign despite being under house arrest and banned from political activity.
In this instance it is not a deep fake, because the avatar acknowledges that it has been generated, and so the ground has shifted in the rules that govern the use of AI in political campaigns in Brazil.
